3Harbors had a great time at Truro's second annual Agricultural Fair. Not only did we provide monetary support by being a sponsor but we became part of the event by agreeing to close the office so folks could walk down Truro Center Road in safety. It was a great time: local farmers with their produce, restaurants selling specially created dishes featuring local goods, political candidates pressing the flesh and even a pie eating contest. See you next year!

Here are some photos of the anniversary party we recently had here at 3Harbors. After a year in business we are happy to report that we have had strong successes. Not only are we tied for being the highest grossing office in Truro, we have had strong numbers for Wellfleet and Provincetown. Our party was also a great success: a raw bar, terrific wine and our own Sue Larkin showed off her expertise on the grill. The weather was terrific and the mosquitos held off until the very last minute (thanks to Philip's fogger). Addison Art Gallery graciously re-hung our walls and many of the artists were also in attendance, as were the beneficiaries of our arts organization giving (Castle Hill Center for the Arts, Provincetown's Fine Arts Work Center and Wellfleet Preservation Hall). Thanks to everyone for making this such great fun! We just may have to make this an annual event.......
Check out this wonderful post from The Boston Globe about the community effort to renovate an old downtown church and turn it into Wellfleet's Preservation Hall. 3Harbors donates to Preservation Hall with every sale we have in Wellfleet and we're thrilled to be part of this community building effort!
The folks at Castle Hill invited us to lunch today to celebrate our commitmnet to the arts - and to Castle Hill Center for the Arts. Everytime we have a sale in Truro we donate a portion of the proceeds to Castle Hill and we're proud to say we have become one of their biggest givers. We had a great time with Cherie and the rest of the folks at the center and we really enjoyed getting a personal tour of the grounds. Thanks Castle Hill - you make the Outer Cape an even better place to call home!
Our team of riders collected over $1,000 in pledges to assist Helping Our Women (HOW) in their efforts to assist our area residents who are living with cancer. It was certainly an eventful day. We started with sunshine and good cheer (much of that courtesy of the very exuberant Miss Richfield) but we were quickly riding our bicycles through heavy rains, thunder and lightning. We ended up wet and cold but we all had a lot of fun and it was great to help such a terrific organization. We can't wait to do it again next year!
Recently we employed an aerial photgrapher to fly his plane out over the Cape to take photos of some of our listings. We're thrilled with the photos we got and thought we'd share some of them with you!
